What's the largest excavator you pull with a pickup truck?

I prefer Reliability, the 5.9 mechanical injected cummins, or the 7.3 IDI IH, just one hot 12v wire, either mated with a Nv4500, the 6.34 creeper, not the common 5.61. I'd gamble the aluminum 5600s or zf5/6s, Point being, no computer, manual gearbox. Odb2 and auto shifting is nice...

I still think i take the cake on the risky scale. Mind you I was passenger. Not driver. His idea. I take risks, but nothing that wild. Sent from my rooted HTC Supersonic using Tapatalk 2 Pro

What's the largest excavator you pull with a pickup truck?

Back in '81 we headed from mid Michigan to Indiana, home made heavy built with 4 mobile home axles under it, box full of spares. To grab a Trojan 100, healthy 2 1/2 yard machine, all of 12-15ton. After using the loader to burm dirt so we could get it on the trailer, all the tires flattened...

    Kobelco hydraulic excavators

Start With something of same size/diameter. They're measured in watts. And they only let current go one direction. Just the matter of fatness to handle watts. Bigger is Ok. I'd be concerned why it smoked in the first place. Sent from my rooted HTC Supersonic using Tapatalk 2 Pro

Schematic should say. And the diode type should be stamped/printed somewhere on the old diode? That's how I'd approach the replacement. Sent from my rooted HTC Supersonic using Tapatalk 2 Pro

Radio shack. Not the franchise stores. Pennies, and a 20watt soldering iron. Sent from my rooted HTC Supersonic using Tapatalk 2 Pro

Eng. oil change interval 500hrs...... seems a bit long.

If the oil pours out the oil pan darker then when it was poured out the jug obviously it's catching something? Oil itself catches what the filter won't... Ponder in that.... Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2

    Hough wheel loader

Hough 50 straight frame Needs a pump, or a rebuild kit. 2 of 4 bushings cracked and allowed out of center rotation which chewed the shaft. If I can't find parts reasonable, ill build up the bushings, and lathe the shaft to fit. Only #s I can find on the pump look like casting #s. Unless...
