    Aftermarket track opinions?

Looks like I put this in the wrong sub. I was aiming for the CTL sub. Can a mod move it please?

    Aftermarket track opinions?

I blew a track on a TL26 today, it has bar tracks on it right now, aftermarket I believe. I contacted both Dominion and Grizzly. I can get C lug tracks from Dominion and pick them up tomorrow two hours away, $1700 for the set. Or I can get the zig zag pattern from Grizzly shipped, she said...

    Takeuchi TL26 Battery Water Light.

I figured I would update this incase someone else was having a similar problem. It had turned into an intermittent problem, it would beep for while, then stop for awhile, repeat. I traced the wire from the battery through the harness and up into the panel inside the cab, the first connector...

    Takeuchi TL26 Battery Water Light.

I messed around with it today and it's definitely that wire that was hooked to the battery terminal, unhooking it while the engine is on gives me beeping, then it stops as soon as I hook it back up. It must have a short in it somewhere because it is starting and stopping intermittently while...

    Takeuchi TL26 Battery Water Light.

The battery water light on my TL26 started to blink yesterday, so we flipped up the cab and checked it. It is using a non-sealed battery so I topped off the water in it. The light and beeper kept going off though. There is a plug kind of hooked to the positive terminal that looks like it used...

    Terex PT30 experiences?

I asked him about that actually, and he said after a few of them (and the aftermarket wheels) he was able to find a generic NAPA bearing that he could use as a replacement and pick up in any store.

    Terex PT30 experiences?

I've never seen one up close, but I would guess it has some of the advantages of a walk behind skidsteer (small footprint, easy to fit into tight quarters), with some of the advantages of a full sized skidsteer (more lift capacity in relation to machine weight, ROPS, less operator fatigue). I...

Using ball joint tool for bushings?

The whole project rapidly went off the rails, it's gonna have to wait. One of the pins came right out, the second one is rust welded into the quick attach plate, I couldn't budge even with a torch. I'll have to order new pins, they were on backorder last month so it might be awhile, then cut...

Using ball joint tool for bushings?

Has anyone tried this? I have a heavy duty ball joint press I bought years ago to do a truck, worked fine for that. I have to do bushings on the bucket attachment, I have the new bushings, they aren't that big, my line of thinking was I could maybe heat them up, get the press attached, and...

    Cat 226 Engine removal

If you are using this machine to make money don't even bother trying to repair a cracked block, if it goes down again you are out all that time, and possibly even more money since it might fail harder the next time and damage more components.

    Takeuchi hydraulic fluid?

I honestly don't even know what is in it now. I'm going to guess AW 32 or AW 46, since he said he just used the same fluid as all the other equipment. It was just changed and got new filters a few months ago.

    Takeuchi hydraulic fluid?

Probably the best choice, it's cold here more than it's warm, and getting 13 gallons of oil up to temperature takes some time. When it was cold out (who am I kidding, it's still cold out) I was giving it at least 10 minutes of idle time after start up. I could always go thicker if I lose power...

    Takeuchi hydraulic fluid?

    It's a TL26 skidsteer.

    Takeuchi hydraulic fluid?

I likely will. I'm just trying to wrap my head around why it would spec one type of oil (convenience at the time would by my guess, but I'm sure the engineers thought it would still offer the protection required) and then be fine on something totally different. Sort of like how my older trucks...
