    277B hydraulic drive hose

Don't have the seriel number handy right now but I'm sure it's just like your 287B. I say a previous thread on a 287B that goes into detail on how to R&R the hose. I think your right. The track does not have to be entirely removed but you do have to move the motor enoug to get to the hose...

    277B hydraulic drive hose

So, the top hydraulic drive hose burst. Out in the middle of nowhere. Looks like a pretty extensive fix. I assume by looking at it I need to remove the tracks and the squirrel cage for one end and then tilt the cabin to get to the pump to attach the other end. Anyone out there done this...

    Cat 277B overheating

My 277B has a history of overheating. I have noticed that the radiator fan does not ever come on like my 279D does. Is there a way to check to see is it actually working properly. I assume it only engages when the motor hits a certain temperature. Thanks for nay responses.

    B277 track adjustment

My left track tensioner is adjusted to the max tension (tension wheels are straight up) and I still need to make it tighter. I see I can adjust the track out about another inch. Is that the maximum track adjustment I can make?

    279D Driver Alert

Sorry guys, i'm sure this has been asked before but didn't see a way to search old threads. My 279D has a driver alert and I can't seem to find a way of knowing what the alert refers to. Do I have to take it to a dealer or is there a code reader available to purchase?

    279D Skid Steer

I have the maintenance and operation manual that came with the machine. I am up to date on oil changes and hydraulic oil changes. Keep the air cleaners clean and up to date. Over looked the cab air cleaners.

    277B

sorry, yes I did pressure wash the radiator. It appears clean. The fan is spinning but don't know if it's the correct speed.

    277B

Just that radiator is full and overflow container is at proper level. All filters have been recently changed (oil, fuel, hydraulic). Runs good and strong. After about 45 minutes to an hour at 3/4 throttle the warning light and buzzer will come on. Check the overflow container and water and...

She's been running hot. What are the common items I should check?

    279D Skid Steer

Ok, the primary and secondary filters were filthy. Put new ones in and now she's blowing about 48 degrees. According to my $2.99 harbor freight thermometer.
