    Cat 375 ME

Anyone here run a Cat 375 ME set up? I'm looking into it and wondering what size bucket is the ideal size for nice gravel with no rocks bigger than a watermelon. We would be loading 773s with it.

    Gradall G3WD?

The G3wd works off a pto or central hydraulics, the 3100 has a seperate motor with a hydraulic pump for the gradall. The 3300 has no truck cab and has a hydrostatic transmission. I have all track machines now but have rented a 3300 and know someone that had a G3wd and he hated it. The 3300 is...

    Gradall G3WD?

I have a few gradalls and the best series to get is the 3300 or the 3100 instead of the G3WD The 3100 will eat the G3wd up anyday. I'm not sure on your budget but if you want production and a machine that won't leak then ( or as much) then go in that direction.

    Cat 349E

Thanks PAcattech I have to pull one out of a hole so we want to drop the counterweight and bucket that way the boss can rent a smaller crane to pull it out. And by smaller crane I mean a 250 tonner instead of a 350 tonner which'll prob save between $5,000-$10,000. Thank you i appreciate it.

    Komatsu PC-200 LC-3 won't swing

A friend of mine asked me to take a look at his PC200 LC-3 because it wont swing, I checked the brake pressure and no oil pressure was at the brake, it was barely pouring out of the hose. The brake hose runs down to an electric valve that has what looks like a drain hose and a hose that runs to...

    are LIEBHERRs nice?

They make the best duty cycle crane going, Manitowoc, Link belt can't hold a candle to Liebherr. Parts can be a pain but they are one strong machine without much down time, and simple to repair if you have the service book.

Chrysler Plant in St. Louis **video**

MCM is probably doing the job for the scrap. A lot of demo companies do that. Testa did that at the GM plant in Linden, NJ

Lack of power with Cat 950B loader

I have a feeling it could be the charge pump for the tranny, I had a dozer do that to me before. Let us know. Or PM me for more advice.

Operate it and work on it!!

You need to be well rounded to stay alive in this economy. I own my company have 9 excavators, 3 dozers, 7 loaders, 4 backhoes, and a handful of minis and bobcats. I can keep all the equipment running, because its getting harder and harder to find mechanics these days. The local union sends...

    World Trade Center- Excavators

That's ridiculous if its blatant than thats one thing but accidents happen, a shiny paint job doesn't make the machine dig any faster.

I need a grapple and opinions

Don't get a hydraulic grapple, stick with a stationary one. A thumb will twist if you start doing heavy demo.

I need a grapple and opinions

When I bought my PC300 about 6 years ago it came with a brand new 2 over 3 tine grapple, NYE Brand. It cost just shy of $20,000. I have the quick coupler on it so the pins stay with the grapple, or other attachment. I would check Rock and Dirt in the attachment section for one. But spend the...

    JCB 550 no 4-way stearing

Do you mean the proximity switches located on the axle? My father has a few and he changed them when it wouldn't return to 2 wheel or 4 wheel steer. You haven't blown any fuses yet have you?
