    How much boost ?

9 PSI sounds low. Check that all the hose clamps are tight and hoses completely on between the turbo and the intake manifold. A sign of loose clamps, etc is are whistling sounds at full throttle, especially if the engine is under load, i.e. when driving down the road in 4th gear at high idle...

    JCB 214 transmission

Jasonw, I am assuming you have a power shift transmission. First check to make sure your battery voltage is >11 volts when this occurs. If it is lower the relays / transmission valves don't have enough energy to shift. Second, check to see if the layshaft relay is functioning. If it...

Backhoe preference? New Holland LB115 or JCB 214 S Series

Either a 214S or the LB115 are good farm machines. You will really like the large front tires / 4 wheel steering modes when loading / leveling. If you can get the NH for a similar price over the JCB the ability to get service and parts should be better. You also shouldn't have to deal with...

Out With The Old In With The Newer

That looks like a real leveling machine. What is your main use for it? Could the Domor crap steer like the JCB? Was the Domor built out of a rigid frame loader like the early Hough, Michigan, Case or AC's from 40 or so years ago? Good luck with the new one, hopefully it will last as long...

    What model Liebherr is this?

The announcer said that the small excavator dumped 1000 liters and the 9800 dumped 10000 liters which is ~250-275 gallons and 2500-2750. The 9800 had a 10cubic meter bucket. My German is meager at best. The final comparison was the 9800's water fall to Victoria Falls in Africa. At best mans...

    4 in 1 buckets

4in1 Grading Instructions -------- Johnny, Thanks for the grading tip. I tried it today and had great success. I had not discovered this rather simple method, but always wondered just what was behind all the curved contours on the front section and rear blade section of my JCB 4in1...

    case 590 sl tires?

Quickest way to tell is park the tractor with the valve stem at the bottom, press on the core if their is liquid it's fluid filled. If it is calcium chloride solution, wash it off right away as it is not good for the paint / finish.

    JCB 215s3 4ws

It should be possible to use your heat gun to check the in and out temps. oil temps at the cooler. If the fins are plugged, the inlet and outlet temps will be nearly the same. A internally plugged cooler or one with no flow going through it would have an outlet at very near ambiet as it is...

    Pictures of your Backhoe!!!!!

Earlier 210C's had the straight loader arms. As the 210 is at the bottom of the line, I'm sure manufacturing cost was a big consideration in the specs. of the machine. The straight arms would be less costly to manufacture than a more complicated curved / angled configuration. Later models of...

    jcb 214s owners opions

In North America it seems JCB has a tough go, but they build a competitive machine. As for the 4x4x4 units, they have sold the lion's share of them in North America. I have a 217S Series II that I purchased used last summer. I wouldn't have anything but a 4x4x4 machine for the type of work...

May have NH LB115 on the way!!

Glad to see your machine made the journey. You will like a 4x4x4 configuration machine even though they aren't popular with most of this forums crowd. They work very well for loading and leveling. With 4ws you are always steering so you can push hard or drag right around a corner or radius...
