Okay okay. I know you guys were loosing sleep over this. Apparently my ground wire coming off the negative terminal wasn’t made properly and it was shorting out. We made a new cable and problem solved.

    TL140 won't restart

I've got an older tl140 and I've been running it on Saturdays with a grapple and clearing some land in northern california. Today, I had the loader up while facing downhill (was brushing), took a phone call and turned off the machine. Go to turn it back on, and it won't start - not a click...

    Is this idler toast?

It’s a 2004. I think in this year only, they had the same motors as the 130. I called Tak in georgia and asked them if anyone there knew why, the most tenured guy there didn’t know why, but that they changed motors shortly after. Could have been a supply thing. Price thing, or quality.

    Is this idler toast?

Thanks KSSS - I see what you're talking about. I always thought that they would only hook when worn, not just wear down and round out. I'm probably going to dump this loader after a few hundred hours and by something a little fresher - is there much harm is running as is and not throwing the...

    Is this idler toast?

Hey guys, I blew a track up this week and had a new bridgestone laying around, so I just put that one on and am ordering another to match it, and on the side that I need to replace the track on, the rear idler is a lot thinner than the other side which I just replaced the track on. I bought...

Okay okay I give in... when I posted that I wasn’t going to even mention it... I was ashamed. I thought it was out of fuel. I added a five gallon jug and it fired right up. The guage was Resing empty so I thought that was it. But I would have sworn I had at least 5 - 10 gallons in there. So...

    TL140 cranks but won't run

Hi Guys, Sorry to keep posting here for lame issues.... Seems every weekend I go out to start the skid and it's something different, and I'm totally new at this. Check the service manual but I don't really know where to start. It ran fine last weekend once I sprayed the rad hose sensors. Now...

TL140 not starting - coolant light on - levels OK

Hi there, I found a thread on here very similar to this but I have some unanswered questions that I could use some help with. - oil and rad fluid topped off - when the key is in the on position - I hear the fuel pump clicking repeatedly - is that normal? - I saw on the other post that the...

    Tak 140 electrical outlet

On my 140, the right hand index trigger switch controls this wire that comes from the back of the engine compartment. When you open the back door, there’s a 7in by 7in metal box. Looks like a stereo amplifier. Bolted to left/ driver side wall of compartment. And there is a bolt there that the...
