    Here are some pictures of the leak… The machine was worked hard(ish) for a few hours and that’s when this showed up. I noticed the smoke is pretty clear until I put it under load. Then it has a slight white amount of smoke. I have zero experience with DDs so I am not sure if this is normal or not.

    I will check, but it doesn’t seem to use coolant as far as I can tell. It seemed like the debris in the piston towers was all oil based.

    I changed the primary element too and blew out all the line on to the high pressure pump. I bought a fuel pressure gauge and I am going to install that so I can see where the drop is. I just need some free time to dive into it!

    The pickup tube is a straight metal tube, only about 6 inches long. When I pull the line off the bottom of the pump, fuel pours out.

    Ya, that's what started this problem! I did have contaminated fuel. I would blow it back and it would work for a while. When I washed the tank, I pulled the feed tube as well and it was clear. When it went back together I put a new filter on it with a new pump. The pre filter looks good and...
