    What a dog

Okay , I feel better now . I also have a 410B 4x4and I love it . It's a super hard worker and digs great , however, it's not that great going from A to B . Sometimes when I have a job only 2 to 3 miles down the road , I'll just drive it . I am equipped with strobes etc. I live in mountainous...

    410B Reverser forward clutch inoperative

Hi , I am not sure if this helps but I have a 410B 4x4 and one day I had the same problem . I found that the problem was on the left side by the clutch pedal . a bracket had broken and when you push in the clutch pedal it disconnects the drive system . With that bracket broken it was default to...

    I need a MFWD steering actuator P/N AT76043 ?

Aloha , Thanks for taking a look at this . Maybe it is the correct cylinder . I have ordered this twice and they have sent me 2 of the wrong cylinders and different part numbers . So if you know of any used straight AT76043 let me know . The rod is slightly bent . I rented my machine out to a...

    I need a MFWD steering actuator P/N AT76043 ?

The book calls for this part number AT76043 but to me it looks a little different than the drawing. It is manual 4 wheel drive . Mahalo , Dale Dirt

    JD410B Leaking outriggers

Okay , I will try again .... I do have the seal kit for it , This thing has me really frustrated , I hope I don't ruin the gland and threads . I made a piece for my heavy duty air hammer and it still didn't move . If I destroy this , do you guys have any idea where I can find ( Buy) another one...

    JD410B Leaking outriggers

Aloha , I have a 410B with leaking out riggers ( STABILIZERS ) I got the nut off but cannot see the metal clip or ring . So I understand that you have to knock the threaded part into the cylinder to get to the ring , then remove the ring to get the gland etc out . Well , I have not had any...

Thank you for the input .... Its worth a shot ... Maybe this AW68 is to thick . It still seems to be the same before I drained it to clean the screen and the front filter .

JD450C Dozer will not move .

Hi .... I did this exactly by the book as per my understanding but still isn't functioning properly until the back and forth and small peddle movements are made . I will try to make a youtube video so you can see what I am talking about . I'll go out and record a few minutes to see if it makes...

JD450C Dozer will not move .

I would be much happier if it was only the mechanical clutch but when it finally does start to function it's a great little machine , pushing and turning great . So i am puzzled .

JD450C Dozer will not move .

Hi .... Yes , I did everything by the book , I set the freeplay , I had to adjust the trans pressure by adding another penny in the spring housing on the top right access hole with a 15/16th wrench . I ran the tractor back and forth until it will shift into HLR . It takes about 10 minutes to...

JD450C Dozer will not move .

Yes , It's like a 2 part system . The freeplay is at the top but also control the fluid flow . That seems to be working . The pressure does go down when I push the pedal in about 1 to 2 inches . then to actually change the transmission gears from 1 thru 4 , you have to push all the way down .

JD450C Dozer will not move .

Can you tell me more about this .... I am getting frustrated with this machine . There are no Old JD mechanic's where I am at . I just don't have enough experience with this type of set up . Maybe I could have better luck with a parts manual . At least I can see all the different mechanisms .

JD450C Dozer will not move .

Okay back to the 450C . My trans pressure was at 125psi ... I added 2 pennies in the fwd right hand side access hole on the t trans to bump the pressure up to 165. The free travel on the clutch however is turned almost as tight as it will go . If I loosen it the machine will not move . I...

JD450C Dozer will not move .

Aloha , Thanks for the reply . I got a wet gauge today to set up for the trans pressure check. I adjusted the Manual Clutch free travel to 3.75 in per TM1102. Yes this is the one that the first part of the pedal is the fluid clutch and bottom is mechanical . Now It will take me a few days...
