    Schaeffer lubricants

Schaeffers got right on it. I had replacements in 2-3 days. Presented damaged goods to my local rep. So yes they made it right. And wow their diesel additive, 1 gallon treats 2k gal of diesel. (I can treat 8k ) The power service I have been using I "think" 32 oz treats 250 g. Diesel

    Schaeffer lubricants

Nope. It was left on the porch when I got home. And the boxes showed no signs of damage. Matter o fact. The 10 tube boxes were put in a larger box for a tight fitting 3 boxes in the outter shipping box. And the inner boxes were in perfect shape. Almost looks like they put seconds in cases and...

    Schaeffer lubricants

Well. I got my shipment today. The 60 tubes of grease was beat to $#!t. At least 4 of the tubes were busted into the grease at the rim. The rest will certainly ooze with time. 28 out of 30 were aluminum rim bent in 1 case. I am less than happy to say the least. And shall see what is the...

I'm going to leave money out of it. Too many non member eyes knowing our rates educates needlessly. And to each their own as overhead is different from company to company.

    No one will hire me

Leaving you alone on a excavator all day was letting you learn undisturbed. He could have just as easily stood out of range and hollered orders and pointed out your every mistake to finally pull you out of the seat and back on your feet with a shovel, rake, and sledge. Count your blessings...

Are you asking how much I charge for the pair? Per hour.

brush hog/mower exc vs skid steer

Don't short sale the ex. It's pretty efficient IMO. I run a mere 30" flail and it makes short work of overgrown anything. Now I do call BS on 4" dia ability with only 17 gpm. It requires patience for larger than 3" hardwood. But I have surprised several people, d@&? I wish I could upload pics...

    Camoplast tracks

Ok. I agree with all you said. But... They can make a tire that will bounce a million pound plane on a runway at over a hundred miles an hour and still hold air. Take 18 wheeler tires they do fail a lot but take a tremendous amount of abuse. And a 7000 lb piece of equip at under 10 mph is not...

    Camoplast tracks

You are describing my tracks. Deep cracks, hunks missing, but they looked like that when I bought it at 800 hrs. Bridgestones here as well and seems they are typically the norm for Taki. My local Tak dealer offers camoplast. If you don't want to spend bridge money. The camo looks good but...

What's the largest excavator you pull with a pickup truck?

All my vehicles gnaw the inside of the tires first. Have had alignments done and still eat them up. May need a new shop. Anyway as the thread asks. What's the largest ex with p/u. How about a enclosed, non dump pick up. My van weighs about 8700 lbs. I'm loaded for bear, it's a GMC...

    Schaeffer lubricants

One thing that I have wondered. And could see my luck going this way. I have 2 high mileage road vehicles. Wouldn't it be a joy if I changed to this and it loosened up some sludge or crud and plugged a oil gally or a main seal or harmonic seal starts gushing irreversibly. I did hear of a...

    Schaeffer lubricants

Ok. Here it is explained. I typically buy oil for the intended change at hand. Usually I buy a couple or few tubes of greese. With the Schaeffers, to get free shipping, I ordered engine oil for 2 vans. 6 gallons. 30 tubes of greese, that I will sell to my buddies that won't track it...
