Worked for a larger water purveyor in western N.Y.. My job was to locate leaks in the system, of which covered 5 counties. retired 3 years ago with 31 years of service. Also did all aspects of main maintenance as well. Spent many nights inside a backhoe or hand digging around water mains. I don't miss it at all.
