    580super N electrical question

I have a 2016 super N standard power shuttle. FNR shuttle lever failed 2 weeks ago. Since been replaced. Saturday was extremely cold, I started the machine no issues, within 15 minutes the machine shut off. Key switch and clutch disconnect fuses were both blown. Any one had similar issues...

    580super m blown hyd pump

Ive spent a lot of time in the N series machines before I bought my own machine. N series is an unbelievable machine for the power speed and comfort. Quality I’m not impressed. Another reason I prefer the older L or early M. Bullet proof and easy to work on.

    580super m blown hyd pump

I’m looking at a 2016 super N. I want to jump on it due to the fact it’s turn key setup exactly how I want and it’s 4stick which is harder to find without ordering new. I’m worried about the packings in the cylinders and any other issues that could come up. I know **** has already made its way...

    580super m blown hyd pump

I don’t know if the machine will stay working year round. It’s paid for so I’m hesitant to trade in for a new machine. My gut says don’t keep a machine with a compromised system. Machine is in good shape but it’s also at the age of nickel and dime repairs.

    580super m blown hyd pump

Have a 2001 super, lost pump, splines stripped, replaced with reman. Not even 500hrs later reman pump failed, filled the system with garbage. 4955hours I try very hard to maintain it. It’s at the dealer to get a new pump and flush the system. I dig main for a gas utility. Question for case...

2003 Case 580SM (Series 1) Gear Shift Problem

Dont force the gear lever. They do break and it’s a pain in the ass to change out. Had it happen on a 580M turbo years ago.

Is $900 a fair price for used wobble sticks?

Call your dealer, if they’re decent they might trade with you as they usually have spares on the shelf. My dealer is great. I’ve looked at buying machines with 2stick and they had no issues trading me for 4stick

    2001 580super M blow by? Case/Cummins input?

My 2001 super M is getting a lot of blow by. Was suggested that I check/clean crank case breather. I get by but I'm not a mechanic. Looking at the plate I don't see how it vents? I know there's a few case mechanics on here. 4200hrs starts right up runs perfect.

    Pictures of your Backhoe!!!!!

My own 2001 and the 2006/2011 I operate day to day at work. All 4stick case.

Case vs john deere vs cat

Personally I'm nothing but a case guy. The work I do (in the street excavation) I still prefer 4stick over pilots. Pilots are nice for comfort I suppose and multiple or newer operators. I've operated many machines with pilot controls but day in day out it's always been case controls. The L...

Snow plow quick hook up ideas?

Have a 580SM with a standard bucket. Have a set of ears bolted in the bucket. Curious to see anyone else's setups if they have made their own custom quick attach setups?

Case 580SM vs 590SM buckets interchangable?

All buckets are interchangeable except N series. N series use a larger diameter pin. In order to use older buckets say of an M series you need a sleeve kit for the pin.
