    Buying Crusher Spread Questions?

I may have worded my description a bit vague, I'll be blasting about 40,000 tonne a year and picking out the large rocks >12" which will leave me with at least 20,000 tonne of crushable material. I'd like to crush 3" minus, 3/4" minus and also a bit of clear stone and sand depending on demand.

    Buying Crusher Spread Questions?

I am looking at buying a smaller crusher setup. the one I'm currently interested in is a 20x36 pioneer jaw with a 14x4 triple deck and a triple roll. I'm thinking that in the future once the rolls wear out I'll cut them out and replace with a 3' cone. We are not a huge company and will probably...

JohnDeere 450DLC No response on hydraulics

I have a 450D excavator that was working the other day and mid swing it was like someone lifted lockout lever and now there is almost no response from the controls. If you start the machine and put the lockout lever into run mode there is no response unless you hold the travel levers in reverse...

Best mid size Dozer with what brand /model GPS system?

I like the Trimble system more than the Topcon. Topcon has more sensors and worse service where I am. If you are looking for a midsize, I would recommend getting the automatic controls.

read screen all rd90 1983 rpm specs for shaker deck

Any idea what the actual RPM of the shaker deck should be? I am in the process of building one and am trying to figure out how fast to shake it.

    Gps & dual slope lasers

I have done several pads 400x400 with 1 catch basin at the end of the pad with a dozer with a single antenna and could get it within 5mm. The best way we have found to save asphalt/concrete was to bring the grader in and take out the roughness the dozer leaves behind.

    wet kit for lowboy????

I use an end dump with my truck and my pump is set to 4900psi. As long as you don't let your end dump dead end it should not be an issue.

Paint for Underside of Pickup Truck Box

The truck is new to me, and was never undercoated. I spray my vehicles with fluid film every year. The truck is a 2008 F250, I am going to take the box off and flip it so I can do the entire bottom of it as well as the frame. I'm not going to bedliner the frame, just paint on that.

Paint for Underside of Pickup Truck Box

Rustproofing is a necessity here if you plan on having a vehicle reach 10 years old. There is rust started now, and if I want to keep the truck 3 more years without replacing the box, it will be worth the time.

Paint for Underside of Pickup Truck Box

The underside of my truck box is starting to rust, and I am looking for a good paint to put on it to stop/slow the rust. I am thinking of painting it with a roll on bed liner to keep the rocks from chipping away the paint. Have any of you tried this? Or should i just go with an epoxy based paint?

    Wheel Stud Thread Lubrication

In some parts of Canada a lost wheel warrants a $50,000 fine. The only way to reduce/get out of the fine is to prove due diligence by providing shop records that all repairs were properly carried out. Most likely requiring a certificate of calibration for your torque wrench.

    Wheel Stud Thread Lubrication

Do you torque the wheels at all? I will spend the 5 minutes it takes to torque a wheel over having a wheel come off any day.
