    I hear a lot of horror stories, but is it really that bad, it's in alabama that looks like it has Case parts in Birmingham and Montgomery, which are at most 90 minutes away.

    Anyone have any input on this dozer, I need one to build a road for about a year or two work for my 100 acres. Its supposed to be a series III with a 3403 and only 4900 hours. I like the simplicity of being able to work on it vs all the electronics. Any thoughts?

    I didn't purchase a cat one, it's a knockoff and works like a champ, no way was I going to pay CAT $1000 for an alternator.
