    Swamp Loggers ?

    I agree with One welder. They were trying to get their weekly quota in as soon as possible and the mill wanted the weekly quota divided by 5 and delivered every day. Goodsons contention was he wasn't told he could only deliver so mant loads a day. Jerry

    What kind of tractor?

    The engine is a JD engine from either an L tractor or an old pull type combine. The rest looke home made. Deere did not make the chassis. Jerry

    According to my LaTourneau book it is a model C Tournadozer. A 160 hp Buda was the standard engine and Detroit and Cat were options. Jerry

    In Michigan you would need a Chauffers license (bottom CDL here) and med card. I got pulled over for first time last year. Had all my paperwork but he said my mud flaps were too short. Got a notice to repair but no fine. Jerry

    Some pics of my current project

    I built a Demo derby track a couple years ago. We dug a trench all the way aroud and piled the dirt on the inside of the trench. WOrked good. It wqas a fun job and the promoter did a good job of promoting my business. Jerry

    Ultra mini vs. 1.5 ton
