    OK, just got a chance to work on this again and succeeded by getting a MAC brand impact adapter 3/4" to 1/2" and borrowed a 3/4" drive breaker bar with "extension" added to handle......we snubbed the ring gear on flywheel and it popped free......turned rest of way off with just fingers.....now...

    Thanks guys I have a multiplier borrowed I plan to try over the next couple days. We tried some heat last weekend but may have been too bashful with it.... Also got in touch with the last guy that had it apart but he couldn't remember details on the crank pulley.

    Case 450 dozer thoughts

    Working on a oil leak on my CASE 450B looks like timing cover. Stuggling to get the retainer nut loose on the front crankshaft pulley..... good little machine but I only use it for personal use and have put about 300 hours on it over last 5 or 6 years.

    Changed fuel filter....wish I didn't.

    I borrowed a forklift last year and ran it out of fuel and decided it would be good to replace the fuel filter.....a cav style just like the pics above....and had 2 people the owner of it, my father inlaw and my dad helping me and we spent quite some time before finally taking the new filter...
