Pads and flat work with an excavator

A few things... There are 1000's of tools one could - can own. But a mini, mid size full size can do a lot of things, and so it's common to see on a job site. I could say WHY would you use dozer over a Road Grader.... Well one is 100k and the other is milllion. or the road is only 500...

Does anyone know HOW they test and or if everyone tests the same way? Is there a standard? If it is measured at the tip of the bucket... for sure bucket size is EPIC impact on the number if you use a smaller size. Need to find a 55 to rent :)

While I agree the Quick coupler seems to be standard on the Yanmar ... Never seen one without and suspect you would have to special order it to not have it, the published chart rating is WITHOUT the Quick change coupler.

For sure Thumbs on an excavator are like those on a human.... can't image not having 2. I also agree smoothness is EPIC helpful and very important. I have rented some 40 sized kubota machines and after having to press the button on the dash every time after a start for the aux hydraulics to...

Unfortunately I'm a very data driven type and look at numbers a bit too much I have to admit. I'm looking to get another Mini Ex 50 - 55 size and looking at the spec sheets, does anyone feel like specs are all over the place? In comparing breakout force, I can't believe they are measuring the...

Yanmar Vio55-6 with Flail Mower - Stick Wont Move Out

I would suspect the motion - action that take the leaser flow to do something gets the fluid. So mower rotating take X HP and the drive motor while slower is less HP demand so the machine moves. But when the stick or boom to go UP takes more power than spinning the motor all the flow goes to...

    lost in Bucket Coupler versions

Looking at a Yanmar vio50 or sv40 and it comes with a hydraulic coupler but What type is it? I have heard of S and D and Wain Roy coupler and others never paid much attention to the Types before. But not really sure how each is different. FYI I understand manual pin on buckets, and I know the...

    Bucket pin wear

If it's taking a entire tube every 8 hrs then it's washing out way before So 2 4 6 hrs in you might have none left. think you need to try some non typical options. Saw this no experience https://www.belray.com/product/termalene-heavy-duty-construction-grease-mining/...
