    Layton drag box pavers

it's been forever since I worked on a drag box. but it seems that if you hooked up to the pintle hitch only, that the paver wouldn't pull straight. pf you had one ext opened farther than the other than the rear of the screed would cut into the mat. it seems like the paver would move not...

    Bobcat-863 hydraulic leak

if it is your axle seal that is leaking, bobcat uses their hyd oil in the chain case, it will be clearer than a heavier gear oil. put your side arms all the way down & curl the bucket back to check the hyd oil. you can check the chain case oil to see if it is low

    Bobcat-863 hydraulic leak

sounds like your axle seal might be leaking. remove the tire & check & see if there is oil on the rim or around the axle tube.

    453 bobcat

if it is the same as a 463, which I think it is. I ended up removing the engine & pumps to gain access to the rear of valve. I first tried to lift pumps up but couldn't get them up high enough to remove the spools. it's quite the job. when I had it out I replaced the old drive belt & alt belt.

    Bobcat AHC Issue 773G

check the wires at the plug. we have had several AHC machines with the same problem. and about half ,the wires were broken on the handle side of the plug. The wires didn't look bad but if you pull on them one by one you can see them stretch. they were broken where they go into the plug

bobcat s185 turbo lifting arms leaking off badly

you could run over relief for a few then feel the cyl & see if you get any hot spots. that is a quick way to check the piston to see if it is bypassing.

    Wacker Rd12 Problems

Glad to help. I never would of thought that scrapers would do that. goofy solutions

    Wacker Rd12 Problems

This may sound silly. but I had to go out on the jobsite on a RD 11. it was doing the same thing that yours is doing. I couldn't figure it out because it didn't do it all the time, until the drums got hot. but if your scrapers are getting worn, they will chatter on the drums and cause that...

Bobcat 863 (and similar) fuel lines/tanks

[I] had to replace my fuel line this spring on my 863. wished I thought about that ext. But I still had problems @ about 1/2 tank. after a bunch of diagnosing, I removed the fuel pick up line & found the line that I bought from the dealer was loose @ the elbow. I called the dealer & they said...

    paver screed issues

if you leave the screed up with engine running and if the screed doesn't settle down then I wouldn't believe that the cyl's are bad. what condition is your screed plate in ? if its worn & warped than you could be fighting the issues. set your screed down on flat surface & null depth screws &...

    paver screed issues

the screed will lift up and sit down like you said. it's just the nature on all screeds. when you sit the screed down it takes the weight off the back of the machine. you can see it more on smaller pavers because the tracks are shorter. all pavers do that. when you lift or lowering the screed...

    paver screed issues

you should check all your pivot points for slop. a little slop in each point adds up. also check your depth crank's, if the threads are worn they will let the screed move. null the screws out and lift the screed and step on the cat walk . you will be able to see movement at screws & pivot point...

Bobcat 743b fuel problems Any IDEAS?

I had fuel issues with my 863 all summer. it started when I was digging out a tree. had about 3/4 tank of fuel. I was down in the hole & machine quit. so I filled machine up & it ran good until I got it back to garage. I searched this forum. and to make a short story long, I found the pick-up...

    Ir sd100d

I think that there is a piece of key stock welded on the drum. if you position the drum with the key stock at 6 o'clock you should be good to fill the drum. the site glass should be facing away from operator's station. if it doesn't have the key stock welded than position your drain plug at 6...
