    D8,46A fuel issues?

    Machine won’t rev up, starts and idles fine , oil pressure gauges reads full pressure after starting . I have taken the plate off the side of the governor and if I move the rod that enters the injection pump by hand it revs up. Moving anything external on governor does nothing.

    Ok that seems to be free and working properly, I do have another machine that is giving me problems with that, when you step on deaclerator it moves the hand throttle …. Just picked up new rollers and springs for it today hope it solves it. Is the inside of those supposed to be lubricated or dry...

    Just had it running after changing the top of the governor with a spare I had . The top is the part with the deaccellarator hooked to it. No change in operation. But there is oil pressure when running .

    I’ve tried a couple things externally and nothing change , I’ve got the side cover off and can make it rev by pushing the rod that is connected to the injection pump by hand. The ratchet at the bottom of the cover is free.

    Dozer starts run great , but no throttle response won’t come off idle . Serial number 46A19840. I’ve been told there is a seal or oring within the governor that may be the cause of it but can’t find one in my parts book . I’ve open the side of governor I can make the engine rev up with the rod...

    We got one three weeks ago , ours doesn’t have a seat belt alarm. I wonder is that something new ? Ours was in Canada late last year . Whether that makes a difference or not ….. Keith

    Hi J Roberts I’ve got a D8H with a tile plow on , no blade or cylinders. It weighs 35000kg no cab or canopy. I would think a 9h would be another 10000kgs set up the same way or a little more . Do you have any pics ? ….. Hanco

    Cat 312BL hydraulic heating problem.

    More or less yes that’s what our machine did , the machine at an idle the flow though the rad is good but as you work the machine the flow is the same it doesn’t change there for no extra cooling . Not sure that’s exactly what is happening but it’s close to what it is .

    We have the same machine and have had the same issue. It was the valve that heymccall has showed you . It controls the flow to the rad. Something inside the valve fell apart didn’t need any parts just reassembled it . We have also had issues when doing demolition work with it the fine dust plugs...
