    HYSTER 30 FORKLIFT; REPAIR INFO??

I was just given a YE40 and couldn't find anybody giving out free manuals. I went with the Jensales version so I could have both .pdf and printed. Hydraulic fluid is ISO32...total system capacity is listed as 7 gallons. I actually drained the hydraulic tank on mine yesterday and it took just...

    Free Hyster YE40, Some Questions

Hi all, The other day my neighbor gave me his small forklift (he's got a much larger lift). He was using it off an on for years when the big lift was overkill, but now he's run out of space in his barn and just wanted it out of there. He said it was getting very hard to start when he parked...

    Flail mower blades

I've only bought blades for my flail once, but went with Flail-Master as they were the name that kept coming up on the tractor forums. They seem to have a lot of options listed. fm

    Svl95/2

It took me a while to find the operator's manual on mine....there is a pouch on the back of the operator's seat where it should be stored.

    Svl95/2

That's not true. There is a ring on the seal for the rear window. Pull the ring and the seal comes out and the window will come out with it.

    Considering a CTL/MTL

So it's been 18 months and I finally have an update. I wound up buying a Kubota SVL90-2 cab/heat/AC, std and high-flow aux hydraulics, hydraulic quick attach, 2-spd trans, and it's got 2,166 hours on it. The tracks were pretty worn so I worked a new set into the deal and it wound up being $300...

My little D3B....has the wrong stickers on it.

    Considering a CTL/MTL

That does help. I'm trying to stick to machines under 2,500 hours and know enough to really look at the UC, so that gives me some idea of what I should expect to see if the hours are correct.

    Considering a CTL/MTL

Sorry....been busy lately, and just getting back to this. Since I'm not worried about the lowest ground pressure, and I don't really care about the smoothest ride, it would seem a CTL would be better for me than an MTL. I'd like either a side-entry or slide up door so that pretty much limits...

    Not sure...I'll do some research.

    Considering a CTL/MTL

First off, thanks for the kind words about my vise restorations! You've got a lot of good stuff in your post, and some of your comments are things I pretty much settled upon myself, but didn't want to mention for fear of biasing people's replies. I'm definitely going to be keeping my utility...

    Considering a CTL/MTL

I think a small articulated loader would be great for much of my work, but not so great heading into the woods where I drag big trees from....some pretty wet areas. I've already gone there in my neighbor's T200 and it was no problem at all. I should have said I'm also considering adding a...

    Considering a CTL/MTL

Hey all, Your suggestions were really helpful in the past when I was shopping for my dozer and backhoe, so I figured it was worth asking about CTLs this time. As background, I have 20 acres that I've been fixing up, clearing, building a barn/shop on, making a shooting range, etc. My...

    Truck Mount Vise Lubricant?

Thanks! It still needs a lot of work, but it's getting there. I've only sold one vise on eBay so far, and just listed another, but I may try more in the future. I really like finding them and fixing them up more than keeping them. A factory end cap or dust cover can be hard to find for...
