    The relays can crack inside, and make/lose contact. Might be worth looking at them. You will see some are multi-relays that are soldered...

    If the boom pin was turning in the boss, then the boss likely wont be very round. Good luck shrinking it down, your plan seems like it...

    +1 on fuel filters first Have also seen the plastic lines crack, and then it sucks in air instead of fuel.

    I am guessing it is starving for fuel. There are two fuel filters, make sure you got them both replaced.

    Sounds like a injection pump issue, not a CAN issue. Is your engine oil overfull? The lift pump sometimes leaks diesel into the engine...
