    Case Radial vs Vertical Lift

The new machine is a B series and I ran one this morning and there is a huge difference between the EH controls now and the old ones. I'm just not a fan of electrical controls and if they still offer mechanical I usually go that route. I think the offer probably around trade value but selling...

    Case Radial vs Vertical Lift

I don't know if this has been discussed but what are the major performance differences between a vertical and radial lift. I have a TR 340 in the shop now for a DEF sensor. It's a machine that isn't worked hard mainly running at idle running a post pounder. I'm looking at the TV 370B because...

    Case 440ct Pattern Change

Asking around out there if you can change the pattern on a Case 440ct series 3 from ISO to H pattern. I didn't know if there are certain hydraulic pressures associated with each function or if there is a valve block where the hydraulic service lines from joysticks can be switched to accommodate...

    Help with Case Track Loader

Code 9406--No CAN Communication from VCM I have the same machine. Have you figured out any tricks to keep the mice out? Mine sits one jobs for awhile too.

    Case TR340 fuel tank vent

Thanks for the replies. I took the cap and clipped the little rubber vent and blew air through it to make sure it vents. Ran the tractor for a half hour and it seemed to not pull the tank down. Also ordered a new cap for a back up.

    Case TR340 fuel tank vent

Checking with case TR or TV owners. I have an ‘18 TR 340 and noticed when refueling the tank collapses and the fuel cap ends up below the oil dipstick support and is hard to get a grip to open it. Once starting to open it sucks air and returns to where it was. I’m guessing my fuel cap is not...

    Skid Steer Attachment Crazy ?

Are the 6 way dozer blades worth the $? I'm looking into a 96" blade just to cover and crown water line I install with a dozer and ripper shank, back fill after trenching, and leveling native material for water troughs and tanks. I don't want to have two dozers(one the install water line and...

    Kubota SVL 95-2s Aux hydraulics

I'm looking to buy a Kubota svl 95-2s and I am sold on everything about the machine. I have been a die hard Case owner but the cab door on the Kubota is the biggest selling point for me this time around because our new Case we bought, we can't get out with the bucket 2" off the ground. But my...

    Case DL450 ?

Your right about doing more than capable but that undercarriage looks the same as on a new Tr340. You have what looks to be a 1/2" flat bar that holds the front idler. It just looks problematic to me. The reason I'm picking your brain is because you seem to be one who has tested a lot of case...

    Case DL450 ?

Back to the DL 450. Can you still utilize other attachments on this machine easily like the quick attach or is it strictly a dozer. If so, it seems the rippers would be a hindrance in certain terrains. Also a concern with the front idler mount. It looks like a weak point compared to the old...

    Case 420CT vs. Gehl 60

I have a 420ct-3 and it is a great machine. I can get a pallet of 35 sacks of 90# quickrete off the trailer but wouldn't want to drive all over with it. The front idlers will "crackel" and sound awful but if you take it slow it can get it done. The nice thing about Case is the lift power...

    Wildland Fire Dozers

Hi Dan I don't now if you made your decision yet but in our area they are just had a D6N xl with an extended rear track frame roller delivered that helped on our ranch burn. The operator said the JD 750 were out climbing the regular 6n's so they tried one of these but it was an $18,000 increase...

    D5g lgp

We are looking at the same dozer but an xl model and it does the same thing. I think Dave is right about the hydrostatic motors. I also read that some guys had to re-flash the computer by Cat and don't know how much that cost. I want to jump someone's post but since you are looking to buy...

    2012 Case TR 270

You guys have posted a lot of interesting info about the Alpha series and I am now thinking of sticking with a 400 series. The front idler mount on the pictures doesn't look as stout as the 400 series but I understand the mud build and the new design looks beneficial. I am an H-pattern junkie...

    2012 Case TR 270

Looking to purchase a TR 270 and noticed the hydraulic oil looked dirty(brownish-black). I am comparing it to my 420ct-3 where I can see through the sight glass and oil is clean. Was wanting to know if this could be an ongoing problem or if flushing the system may cure it. It has 1300hrs on...
