CAT 305C CR - Track Out on right side

I finally got it back on. I used a chain to pry the track a lot and the grease finally came out and the track was loose enough to put it back on. It was *very hard* to pump grease back in. What would be the cause for the grease being very hard to get out and get back in? Thanks!

CAT 305C CR - Track Out on right side

@jbernielh The track is quite tensioned right now because it's over the sprocket. See the attached pic. I'll try first to replace it with a load strap. If it doesn't work, I'll try to unscrew the bolt that holds the grease fitting so I can unscrew it entirely. Maybe that will help getting some...

CAT 305C CR - Track Out on right side

@jbernielh Thanks! Have you been able to remove the retainer bolt that prevents the grease fitting to be removed completed? That bolt is located in an almost impossible place to access.

CAT 305C CR - Track Out on right side

@PeterG Many thanks for your reply. I am not sure where the nut on the track tensioner is. When the track went out on the out on the left side 2 weeks ago, I just unscrewed the grease fitting to let the grease out and the track was very loose after. Thanks!

CAT 305C CR - Track Out on right side

Yes, it's still attached to it - the track is still perfectly on the front roller, just offset 2-3" on the final drive.

CAT 305C CR - Track Out on right side

Hi folks! CAT 305C CR - 2008, serial: HWJ03046 3 weeks ago, my left side rubber track was loose a bit and it went out. I unscrewed the grease fitting to loose it even more and put it back. Now, today it's the right side track that went out as it was also a bit loose. It went out at the final...

2008 305C CR - Plastic wire harness holder

Hi, I have a 2008 305C CR (serial number HWJ03046). I just can't find in the parts manual what is the part number of the attached plastic wire harness holder. Those pins are in the sliding window and the cab, to hold the wire harness going to the wiper. The parts manual I have (printed) is so...

    Small burn on wire harness

I got 3M Temflex 2155 tape to do the repairs on the burnt wires. Hopefully that will do it.

    Small burn on wire harness

Hah! Ok I removed the #47 bold and the remains of the connector fell off, so it looks like it really is #47 :) BTW in the pic I uploaded, the top arrow points to #49. The bottom arrow points to #47.

    Small burn on wire harness

Hi @kshansen - many thanks for your response, it is much appreciated. I've cleaned a bit the area and attached a new picture. From my picture, I think I should attach it to #47, is that right? #49 seems like a bold to hold the busbar. What do you think about #47?

    Small burn on wire harness

I have attached a few pictures - one of the fuse box and one for a bus bar it seems. Looks like the top fuse box has only 2 wires going in while the bottom has 3. It looks like there's a left-over connector in that fuse box. What do you guys think?
