    924G runs poorly and derates

Get a 930 from out of the scrap bin. It will start and run forever. Mine has been since 1970 and it's never derated itself once.

Crushing Gravel - 2" to 3/8 pea needs angler shape not round

Also I hate to say it but the production on that AC cone is SLOW. I mean one straight dump truck load an hour. That’s like a year and a half of 8 hour days to make 10,000 ton.

Crushing Gravel - 2" to 3/8 pea needs angler shape not round

I doubt if you’ll make spec crushing nothing but 2”-3/8 rock. One cone is not going to make enough bottom end. Here in Oregon it’s 3/4”- 1”- 1.5”- or 2.5”-. If you crush that size rock to say 3/4 or 5/8- it’s gonna be boney ass hell. I make 1” to #4 out of 1.5” round here and it works really...

    Welding on a Roll Crusher

I've felt with John a bunch over the years. That guy can find most anything. I have a roll crusher that his guys welded up many years ago and it did the same thing. I don't think it's a big deal so long as its not flaking off? We also build up at the rotor on our Eagle UM-25 about twice a year...

    Jaw Crusher- Welding.-

Our dies are a different design than what is in the pics. Ours are flat with diamond shaped patterns in them. I believe what you working on is for softer rock than what we have? So adding tips is not an option. If I can figure out how to post a pic I will. Yes I'm sure that he had to put alot of...

    Jaw Crusher- Welding.-

Yeah the guy that hardfaces our rolls tried to build up a jaw die one time and he warped it also. I think he said they had to machine it back to square? Not any savings there. We use the diamond shaped dies around here. I would be very interisted in this thread as we use a Kue-Ken 30X42 jaw here...
