    D3G Fuel Gauge

Fuel gauge on my D3G (BYR01978) always shows full. What should the voltage read at the gauge? Trying to determine if it's the gauge or sending unit. Is there a way to test either of those?

    Frustrating D3G

Nige I really appreciate your help. All of your information helped to diagnose what it wasn’t. I wonder if some of the codes were because of the engine not producing sufficient current....... I am a bit more educated than I was about what makes this machine operate. I was convinced it was...

    Frustrating D3G

Latest update: Started engine this morning, brought up to full throttle and in just of few seconds it began to stumble. Too lazy to remove lines at the tank ;). So I took my air compressor, took lines leading to tank loose & blew air back into tank. cut one end off of frayed hose, reconnected...

    Frustrating D3G

Pump is a small, self priming electric job on top of the filter. I know the pump seems to run for maybe a minute or so when I start the machine. Is that length of time normal? Anyone know what the fuel pressure should be?

    Frustrating D3G

The engine acts like it is under a load. It does smoke when it slows to a stop. If anything the engine sounds like it has a stutter (I know-sounds like a female description) I replaced fuel & air filters. Any way to check turbo output?

    Frustrating D3G

I have been trying to diagnose a loss of power problem with my D3G (s/n BYR01978). Machine will lose power & slow to a stop, slowly gain speed, rinse & repeat. No codes showing. Checked brake system hydraulic pressure - all good. Parking brake switch function - good. Both pedals function...

    D3G Parking Brake

    D3G Parking Brake

What is the system pressure for the parking brake? What type fitting connects to the test fittings by the filters? D3G LGP S/N BYR01978

    D3G Ground Power Stalls

Another tidbit, swapped the brake & decel position sensors trying to see if problem changed. If anything problem got worse. The brake did work during the stalling condition. I did notice the engine was loading down, smoke coming from exhaust. The brake functions properly during the stalling...

    D3G Ground Power Stalls

Changed steering control unit, waste of time and $$$$. Problem still exists. Cleared all codes, moved all directions, checked codes and nothing shows - code 222. Paid mobile Cat service for visit, everything he could see pointed to high & low voltage on steering sensors. I’m at a loss as to...

    D3G Ground Power Stalls

Tested per the above procedure, shows harnesses good - joystick controller bad. Looked through the few documents sent from previous owner and saw where the handle & controller was replaced April 2017. Makes ya' wonder.............. Thanks for all your help

    D3G Ground Power Stalls

I really hate to resurrect this post BUT, the same performance issue is back. Error code this time is 255 - Position Sensor (Forward/Neutral/Reverse) Beginning to think sensors under the joystick are causing this. Any way to determine? Don't see the sensors as a separate part, so I am assuming...

    D3G Ground Power Stalls

Latest update: Cleared all error codes - showing Code 222. No way to know how long those codes have been stored. Ran for 2 hrs. no issues other than caution light for intake air heater relay???????? Checked codes again and got only Code 222.
