Help with info on a Chinese tractor engine..

Gravel drive way for fire truck

I've seen ladder trucks that weigh real close to that on two axels. The tower at the department I work at weighs 80,800 on three axels. If memory serves Washington, D.C. Bought a ladder truck on two axels that was known to damage the roads due to its weight.

    Looking for Rescue fire truck/crane

Alco hit it bronto is the largest aerial platforms. However I would probably faint at the price tag and the huge chassis required to carry that enormous boom. Very few of the big ones have actually been put in service as far as I know

Water truck: How big it too big (Fire)

Personally an Allison auto or a good 8ll might be the best for a tender and at least 400 hp. Cafs has its place in the fire service but I think I would take a good tender over a cafs truck. There is a lot of good ideas here and the biggest question you have is how to use some of them and wether...

Water truck: How big it too big (Fire)

Also when you are looking at tanks make sure you get one fully baffled. There is a Usfs and an napa standard on the baffles. Also look into quick dump valves. There are different trains of thought regarding tank size and the speed of reloading at a fill point. Some say smaller is better for...

If your going 3000 or more tandem is the only way to go. I agree dual lockers are outstanding in less than desirable conditions.

    Best Footwear

I've heard good things about Wesco boots from wild land guys. I was at the nicks factory in Spokane in January and was very impressed by the level of customer service.

    Best Footwear

Once you go whites, nicks, hawthorns, wesco's. you'll never buy cheap boots again. I've never worn more comfortable boots once their broke in. Well worth the money.

    Articulated dump truck photos

I didn't realize that about Aus. Importing would be no fun with shipping delays and such. I can understand the differences unique to use as far as articulation joints go. Thanks for enlightening me.

    Articulated dump truck photos

I figured an articulation joint is an articulation joint. I would think usually your not going to have a tipping problem as long as you limit the range of oscilation in the joint. You build them into your loaders it really shouldnt be that difficult for you. I am curious why dont you assemble...

    Fire Suppression - Boomer's , Heli's , Tanker's , Trucks, ect

I think your idea would work well. Plus I wouldn't require more costly plumbing to be done on the tank itself.

    Fire Suppression - Boomer's , Heli's , Tanker's , Trucks, ect

That diesel pump would be the ticket! I am betting that there are some 3" pumps that would do fine if the friction loss wasn't too much on an 1 3/4" line. There are so many kinds of little pumps surely they make one that would fit the bill. Tenders are great for working on brush piles and deep...

    Fire Suppression - Boomer's , Heli's , Tanker's , Trucks, ect

It depends on the application, flow and pressure you want. I would say if it's filling a tender and you aren't in a huge rush that would be a reliable setup. Probably cheaper and mor robust than a Wajax high pressure setup.
