    CAT 3306 Problem in 97 L9000

    Those things were known for loosing a piston and liner if you didnt let them warm up before putting a load on em. Could be a valve problem but if you are getting lots of blue smoke and blowby its internal

    find a bolt thread or something pointy to hook in the metal hoop left from the ring cap to pull the old tube out. Greaseless!

    Arctic Fox makes a stick on pan heater for the oil and the Yanmar I have in my PC45 has a screw in/out block heater. Took 10 min. -20 in Minnesota and it started like 80

    pc45r-8 boom relief pressure setting

    I know things are done for a reason and I have a reason. The reason is a good deal on a 3000lb trench box. The bad part is that I can pick 3k if im on top of it but the boom relief bleeds down the boom as I stick out. Some years back I did unload my rammax with the same machine but the boom...
