    The little accumulator is just in the system to take the pulse out of the pilot system is all don't think that will help.

    Understand that the problem is there is no big wire only two smaller ones about 10ga or so and they don't go right o the starter but up through the loom someplace.

    neighbor has a old 988A sn 87A9964 which surprisingly good shape and tight he got it from a coal company and the only person who ever ran it was the owner. Now for the bad part it has sit quite a while and having problem with the wiring it will not charge and the heater for the engine doesn't...

    The 21B we always took out from the top. Going out the bottom is a bear cause you have to actually stand it on it's nose to get it between the track frames.

    Well I have spent the last 49 years working for a dealer start as a mechanic for 33 when it was still Allis Chalmers then Fiat-Allis who screwed thing up then the last 16 as a parts manager and now it's CNH who is worse yet than either of them.
