    I can imagine that the 764 is great for grading pads and curb, which is it's purpose,but i would rather have just a conventional dozer it just seems more versitile.     We push our 627's with a D6R it works but would love to have an 8, of course in big straight cuts we just hook the pans together nothing better

    got this 764 as a demo and the boss wanted us to try it out. I really don't like it cause it seems so awkward. Has anyone else operated one and what do you think?

    yeah it really is thats why i had asked what everyone else puts down on the deck and they said conveyor belts. I have been using old deck boards but i didn't like the fact that it added height

    The machine had a couple of cleats that stuck up alittle then the others so i finally talked the boss in to fixing it but even after that it still does damage. I didn't want to put anything under it because of height. The boss man told me to shove some old tires under it.

    The Ultimate Medium Dozer?

    I think it would be neat to have some sort of slope gauge on a dozer. It would be cool to run a dozer on a slope and tell exactly if its 3:1 or so on.
