    I was just wondering does anyone know how good a john deere 9400 tractor is on a pan and how reliable they are, I'm currently running a case IH 9280 pulling a 14ft pan and am looking to upgrade to a low hour JD 9400 which is about all thats in my budget

    Great pics kman9090, yes with a tractor and bucket a 2:1 usually has that result but 3:1 no worries

    thats how we get old experienced operarors ,young ones get given a chance to prove them selves usually on the old worn out gear , I started in 1976 on an old E200 inter scraper no lasers or gps just cut fill pegs,but I'm using tractor and buckets now .

    yes they will drive on a 3:1, I do it all the time up to 2:1 any steper and pan slids down and craps the whole outfit sideways, but tractor keeps goining
