    David I think that you will be fine with the 290. We dig 24'' oaks out with our 200 all day long. A 350 would be awesome but a little overkill.

    Check pilot circuit pressure. Filter restriction light on? Fluid level. May be main pump pressure low? I would start with the filters.     Final Drive Issue

    Final drive is building pressure with hydraulic oil. Duo cone seals on propel motor or o rings in brakes? or both? Can you cap off the brake hose and see if the fluid stops? How hard is it to change either on 690ELC.
