Specs for a new Case backhoe

Sorry, I didn't mean to overwhelm you with the challenges of business, although there are many. There are a few benefits as well: pride of accomplishment, recognition after years of achievement, and probably more money, again after the years. You also ge to meet all kinds of people, many who...

Specs for a new Case backhoe

Thanks. You'll notice that what I said had basically nothing to do with running a backhoe. It's all about managing your time, expectations, work, cash, receivables, family, and spending the time to build relationships with others who impact your running of a business. If it were easy...

Specs for a new Case backhoe

I've been there too. Here's a few things off the top of my head of what I have learned. Be prepared to be off of the machine using skills, tools and techniques that you may not have or be familiar with. Having a backhoe may get you the job, but it will usually require lots of other equipment...

    John Deere 510 worth it????

On the other hand, if the pump was donated to another machine, you are basically buying it for scrap price, so it may make sense to look at it.

    John Deere 510 worth it????

Check to see why it needs a new hydraulic pump. If the current pump grenaded metal throughout the hydraulic system, you probably should consider that machine a "pass".

Old fuel? should I use it?

Do it now while the temp is below freezing. The water will remain in the tank as ice on the bottom and you can deal with that later.

    JD310 Boom Pivot Pins

Joey - I road my 310C pretty much everywhere. I have taken it 40 miles in one shot. Just check your fluids, grease your U-joints, turn on you senses and go. Never a problem. Two weeks ago, a very dear friend bought himself a new 580N in Sudbury at the Case dealer (of course). He lives 98...

Joey - you've been away from here for some time. Nice to see you back.

    H & H 24" high capacity buckets

Many pieces of equipment come without a bucket when new. The dealers and customer can pick their buckets as new, and frequently, H&H buckets show up on new iron as "OEM" hardware. My two Deere are examples of that. Brand name OEM buckets also come in standard and HD flavours, so watch what you...

    H & H 24" high capacity buckets

I have H&H 12", 18" and 30" buckets on my 310C. All in the HD flavour. The have a website and are in Burlington I believe. Their products are well made and durable. I recently sought out and purchased a used H&H 2.5 cubic yard snow bucket for the same machine - I researched them and found them...

Do 4 in 1 buckets hold up?

I have found that the bottom lip is tough - the guy on the seat is the biggest risk to its integrity. If you don't loan your machine or let the $12/hour help run it, it will last. 4-in-1 buckets, as they are heavier, also have less capacity. If you move a lot of light materials, like snow...
