    777D spin out video!

We have 2 785-5 komatsu's with flat bottom beds, we had several old 85 ton wabco's that were the same way. They are horrible wet weather trucks as the center of gravity is higher and the load is transfered farther back on the rear axle... In the initial video the operator grabbed a...

    cat high drive?

http://enr.construction.com/products/equipment/2009/0624-CATRevealsHybridDozer.asp Cat's High drive is not going anywhere.... Some will always prefer a Komatsu, most want the CAT. I believe much of the reason we have not seen a high drive komatsu is the cost in retooling their factory and...

    D10R pic...

Hmmm. Bean counters.. where I'm at they're only concerned with putting hours on the machine and fuel consumption, not performance and production... almost ended up with a Komatsu because of our money crunchers

    Haul road....

Mr. Rooks, I'll be back at work next week, I'll look up the fuel consumption numbers and give them to you. As far as U/C wear goes, our dozer has about 500 hrs on it so everything still looks great. We've got 5,000 hrs+ on our D9L U/C since a major.... and it still has plenty of life...

    992G production #s

On our 6.2 mile roundtrip haul... 1100 ton per hour. That's with (4) 100 ton trucks on a 3.1 mile downhill haul and a 1700 ft elevation drop. our other pit is 1.5 miles from the dumphopper and the 992G will max out the tonnage and trucks are waiting on the crusher... 1300 tph It all...

    Komatsu WA800-3

Not the same type of machine... The new wa-600's are very nice, they are setup like the 992G series CAT's with the clutch mod, 2000rpm throttle lock, and gettr done! Wa-800,900's are your old fashioned pilot control, clutch cut off, somewhat jerky machine. IMHO. The 600's are...

    Komatsu WA800-3

Old thread.... Do you guys like the wa-800's ? personally I think the 992G is a better machine, maybe when komatsu puts the clutch mod. brake in the 800 it'll be on par with the 992. The 800-3 we have at work reminds me of running the ol 992C
