    CAT 255 & 265 engine manufacturer?

99% sure my 22 306 CR is powered by a V2403 Kubota per the stamp on the block. Must be just the newest models, are they now a cat/perkins powerplant ? Thanks for the reply!

Just a joke! But he should for real have a fund setup so we can buy him a beer (or drink of choice) when he helps us out!

    Cat 259d engine swap

What engine “r+r” is “required” at 3k hrs? Just curious what it calls for as I assumed it just called for a dpf clean. I think I will clean mine with a 3” hole saw!

    2014 259D Refrigerant fill amount?

I need to get my hands on a manual for this rig sooner than later, I had to change a refrigerant line on my 259D and need to double check the 134a fill amount. I found a thread on HEF that listed a 289D at 2.2 pounds or 35.2 OZ, so I assume it’s the same but figured I’d see if someone can hook...

    Guinea Pig

This!!! I do hope it all works out for you but personally I would rather buy something used / wore out, that you can buy parts for locally, and just refurbish the rig. As already said, better than a wheel barrow! I am sure you’re well aware, when stuff needs repair/parts, and it will, things...

How much does it cost for CAT Services to diagnose and fix 308E2 ECM

Wow, that seems a little excessive for a ECM diagnosis. Not cool.

    259D3 Fuel Pump in a non-D3

Seems like a good option for sure. Would be nice to find the specs on the cat pump. Well shoot, why do you want to go and make me think twice!? yeah, I feel you may be right. I guess if it ain’t broke don’t fix it, and if the newer part is improved… just roll with it. not to mention that...

    259D3 Fuel Pump in a non-D3

I remember reading that CAT been updating the problematic D-series machines with the new style D3 lift/transfer fuel pump. From the pics I can find online it seems like the main filter housing is part of the lift pump on the new style D3 pumps. Was just at my local dealer and the Saturday...

259D fuel pump fuse keeps popping!

As always you rock! It did pop the 15 amp fuse. And when replaced the pump is intermittent so I assume it’s toast.
