    My 2 speed worked but one side was a lot slower, The machine would turn a 1/2 circle in 50' going straight. I don't understand the loose track comment.

    On my machine I had checked pressures at both travel motors and had switched the lines from right to left at the valve blocks with no change. I ended up replacing the slow drive with new and then the problem went to the other side. Ended up replacing both drives and problem solved.

    I have a Tak TB-135 open cab, have used Yanmar 35 , Deere 35, Cat 303.5 with cab quite a lot. In my worthless opinion it seems that the Tak's seem to be better engineered and have smoother hydraulics that the other guys in these smaller machines. Yanmar has nice hydraulics but is gutless, Deere...

    It has a grid heater that works off the key position, I believe its in the accessory position.

    When at the hose making place get the test tee's in the 2-3 sizes that fit your machine and the gauge on a 8 foot long hose so you can see pressures as you run and work the machine, helps with the diagnosis of problems.

    I think you need to test at pumps as I believe each travel motor runs off a seperate section of the pumps

    At one time I considered building one when I was building my house, got to thinking about how easy it would be to twist the boom being only one attach point . Proceed with caution my man.

    It's unbelievable how many things one can do with a mini, I use mine about every week to either lift something , reach something, etc. I don't know how I survived so many years without one !
