    Ran into a similar problem with a 39 kamatsu ,the blade was so far out from the track so you could angle the blade without hitting the track .that the blade would jump up and down like running over boulders when just traveling.

    I hate to rain on your parade but ALOT of the time removing these pins turns out to be a major project. You may not have time to do it in the time it takes the tire guy to do his thing. I would use one of these

    Picking up odd size rocks could cause the pressure to be uneven across the pin. You could try having a stronger pin made ,but this may cause something else to break .
