    Auger for my SVL 65-2

Recently purchased a Kubota SVL 65-2 for personal use on our horse farm. I would like to pick up an auger attachment for it so I can retire the post hole digger on the back of my tractor. It will be used for digging fence posts and footings for sheds and some planting and such on our farm, not...

Bobcat Brand Attachments on my Kubota CTL?

I think its the hydraulic quick connects, not the mounting plate. The machine is a 2020 Kubota, the plow is a 2011 Bobcat brand. I called my Kubota parts dept and they say there is zero chance the plows quick connects will work, especially if it was being used on a Bobcat machine.

Bobcat Brand Attachments on my Kubota CTL?

I'm new to owning a CTL or a skid steer for that matter, I just bought a Kubota SVL 65-2 for personal property maintenance on our horse farm. After our first snow storm with the new CTL, I could definitely use a plow attachment. I found a 2011 Bobcat brand 84" plow attachment that aside from a...

Kubota SVL 65-2 and 75-2 First Test Drive

Went to my local Kubota Dealership and took the 65 and 75 for a whirl. I am looking for a machine for my 10 acre horse farm to handle snow/manure removal, grading and screening material, unloading pallets etc. I need to be able to travel down 8' isles between paddocks/barns and menuever...

Tak TL8 vs Kubota SVL 65/75

I'm not opposed to used, I just get scared not knowing how well or poorly a previous owner maintained their machines. It seems like the Taks and Kubotas have more reasonable resale values than the Cats and Bobcats, why is that?

Tak TL8 vs Kubota SVL 65/75

In the market for a CTL and think I have it narrowed down to these, but I could use some input Machine will be for my personal use around a small horse farm. Snow removal, loading manure, scraping paddocks, grading, screening sand, spreading RCA, unloading pallets of grain/bedding/supplies...

the right skidsteer/track loader for me??

I appreciate your reply. Those single arm JCB' kinda scare me, im sure its only in my mind, but i feel like the single arm would be prone to getting twisted over time. I've thought long and hard about everyones advice here, and as of now, I have decided to lower my standards a bit and...

the right skidsteer/track loader for me??

Is it necessary, no. Do I want to spend 50-60k, no. But this is my life, and we will most likely trade up to a bigger farm or more properties, and I will be spending the rest of my life doing this stuff, so I would like to make my life as easy and comfortable as possible. I'd love to find a 5...

the right skidsteer/track loader for me??

Actually, I am not happy with it. I guess it does everything it is supposed to do, but I guess every compact tractor does everything minimally well. Its hydrostatic which makes maneuvering easy, but it can only pull the drag in "medium" gear, which is so slow. Turning radius sucks, and lift...

the right skidsteer/track loader for me??

Thanks for all the input. Wheel loader won’t work for me, my space it just too tight. It’s def a skid, wheels or tracked. Unloading the occasional pallet of something too heavy for my tractor is maybe 1-2 a month. 98% if the use is moving material/snow in tight areas. And I plan to keep my...

the right skidsteer/track loader for me??

on the few occassions I have rented or borrowed one, they have all had hand/foot, which felt very foreign to me. I have always had a tractor so am used to that style of loader control. So if I buy new, I am def going for pilots.

the right skidsteer/track loader for me??

770 is too big, and I have been looking for a solid A220 for a long time.

the right skidsteer/track loader for me??

wont be much operation on pavement other than snow removal, but most operation will be on course RCA, which i am sure will be just as abrasive. Really the machine is going to be operated daily with buckets of manure, sand, or rca. I only want the capability to lift a pallet of stone or a...

the right skidsteer/track loader for me??

No, which is part of my problem. I can maybe lift 2k lbs a couple inches off the ground to move it around very carefully, or maybe 1500 lbs a couple feet off the ground. Those numbers go to crap without the 1k lb TR3 on the back of it as a counter weight. And with the drag on, I lose all...

the right skidsteer/track loader for me??

As far as dealers, I have Case, Cat, and Bobcat 5 miniutes or so away. Out to a 30 min radius, I have Kubota, yanmar, Deere and New Holland, but I have not been impressed with the New Holland service people since thats where I bought my tractor.
