    I ended up buying the backhoe and it has been great. I do have a small issue though. The reverse solenoid works intermittently. I checked with New Holland and found it is discontinued. I may have found one in Louisiana. It is pricey. Can solenoids be rebuilt? The part no is K3660224151...

    I am looking at a Ford 655D,1994 I think. It has 6200 hr and is in decent shape. I was wondering what HEF people think of the for lack of better wording, the sliding hoe mount. I hadn't seen one like this but the hoe can be moved from side to side on a a rail mounting. Thoughts

    i havent checked the pressures. The problem happens when the weather is cold. In the summer it is not an issue. I don't know if this needed to be clarified? My email is rchetney@telus.net Merry Christmas Ron

    When the machine is cold it wont go in reverse. Once warmed up its fine and will engage normally. Forward is not a problem...thanks for looking Ron
