I totally agree, busted a fitting needed 5 gallon to get level back in operating range. Used the 303, trying to figure out if whole system needs drained now?

Can you use the sus 303 hydraulic fluid in the case 680ck? I know the current fluid in use in my machine is the Napa 85-105 fluid?

    Stabilizer?

Brews4Me, if you have a walmart close by they should sell K1 on the shelf. I have used it to to thin out veggie oil that I ran in my powerstroke and I can say a little goes a long way to "cutting" the fuel and lowering the gel point for #2.

    How to Shift Case 680G

LOL digger I use mine all the time I just use the brake like a clutch and know if I have the RPM's up she is gonna buck! The only time mine gets me is when I am on a slope and the short pause from release to engage has caused me to uhh "pucker" and cut a hole in the seat cover once or twice!:lmao

I to understand MSHA and a I do see there point from some of the things I now deal with FDA and NFPA. The first truck/trailer I ever worked on was the Monday Night Football truck. Old man work? No.....he's with MSHA

I use to build remote television site trucks. We made the boxes and lengthened frames all the time. We added tag axles, and even did slide outs for under 25GVWR and up to 53 foot box trailers. We did a weld in frame for the length, then an inlay and over lay bolted in. The only modification we...

Case 680CK 301B block heater and glow plug

Got the hoe up and running! I am starting to compile all the after market/Napa numbers that I can get crossed over or parts matched. Does any one know where or what part number the rubber boots that goes over the plunger on the treadle pedals are? I have found numbers but, Napa cant get anything...

    Case 680 won't start

Even with my pump being out 31 degree's my would fire and run with ether. I wonder if since it did sit so long if mice didn't build a nest inside air cleaner or intake manifold. I had to remove mine and get a nest out of it before I fired it up.

Case 680CK 301B block heater and glow plug

Mine is leaking at the plug and heater. Made quite the fireworks show when I plugged it in. Before the rebuild it always started with the block heater plugged in. Just trying to fix up all the little things I have put off for too long.

Still trying to get it out of the manifold without breaking anything. Doesn't appear to work when I did jumper it from the starter lug to heater.

Case 680CK 301B block heater and glow plug

Tinkerer, I never have gotten the plug to work yet. Am replacing components that are "iffy" as I find them. I will have to check on the manifold flange size Lantraxco. I am going to drain the coolant tomorrow and replace the malfunctioning thermostat and the block heater while I have it...

Case 680 E Air Brake Trouble

Thanks for the tip Tinkerer I will try the adding air to see if that helps. After checking air loss,1 hour later and I had only lost 20#'s of air pressure. So once I get the air chamber replaced I should have this old machine going good!:drinkup
