    New to us Hamm H7i

Like the title said, company just bought a new to us 2016 Hamm H7i roller. Crossed most of the filters except for the fuel water seperator filter and the 2 hydraulic filters under the platform. It's got the Kubota V3300 motor with DPF filter. Anybody have any idea where the diagnostic connector...

    Bobcat S300 aux hydraulic issue

You could do a few things to see if your new cylinder or the other cylinder is actually bypassing. After it's been worked for a while, I'd say 20 minutes or so, one cylinder will be warmer, or actually hot to touch. A temp gun can be used. Bypassing oil creates heat. Another thing you could do...

    863 foot pedals not working

Not sure about your specific model but I had a S250 do the same thing. It ended up being a bad BICS solenoid on the control valve. If you gave it voltage direct from the battery it would unluck but had gotten weak and wouldnt unlock under it's own power. Again, not sure for your specific model...

    S 650 Bobcat blown 100 amp fuse

I'm convinced now that it might have just blown the fuse too! Started adjusting the main relief valve.....1 1/2 turns in got me up to 3500 psi but it doesn't consistently peg out at 3500. There's either a piece of trash holding it open or it's got a blown seal. Sometimes even after I adjusted...

    S 650 Bobcat blown 100 amp fuse

But even at that wouldn't it have blown the glow plug fuse or burned out the relay before it went all the way back to the main fuse? I know on older cat equipment if a glow plug wire shorted out in the harness or if a plug dead shorted it would kill the magnetic solenoid or blow the fuse...

    S 650 Bobcat blown 100 amp fuse

I rode out to work on a friends bobcat that wouldn't start after he had shut it down to talk to an inspector. From what he tells me everything was working fine and was running fine then when he got back in it the nothing would turn on when he turned the switch to the "on" position. It only took...

John Deere 824J 12.5 Powertech injectors

Hey guys without getting into dealer service tools or laptops, is there a way to check to see if EUIs are getting voltage when running, or when trying to start with a regular multimeter? What happened in my case was we had a 824 go down back in Dec. Operator came in one morning and it wouldnt...

    Heavy Duty Truck Code Reader

Hey guys, just kind of wondering what some of you guys use to get codes off or class 4 and up trucks. Looking to buy something but seeing a lot of reviews some saying gives wrong codes, or won't connect.... Just trying to get an opinion on what's the best bang for my buck. Also like I said...

    Stumped with my CT332

Start with making sure when you turn the key to crank, the exciter wire (small wire on start solenoid) is getting voltage. If it doesn't you could try checking safety switches on the seat and safety bar.

    Low/Falling priority valve pressure D8N 5TJ S/N prefix

Machine went through 2 different transmissions in 12 hours. The one that was in it, and then 12 hours later a rebuilt one was bad. Both had the same issue. Fwd clutch discs got hot and melted. I rebuilt the priority/brake valve and i did find a blown o-ring on the check valve but that was...

    Lessons learned....

I'm sure we've all been in a position at some point in our career where the boss or company owner wants their equipment up and running ASAP. So a couple years ago the company I work for purchased a spare transmission for our 4 D8N tractors that we use to push up deicing salt. It takes me and...

Bobcat S250 Leaking oil from hydrostatic pump shaft seal.

Definitely from the main input shaft. There's also a chance that the control shaft for the right side is leaking also. Merry Christmas Willie!

Bobcat S250 Leaking oil from hydrostatic pump shaft seal.

Working on a friend's bobcat doing a variety of repairs and trying to fix some of the leaks. One of which is the main seal on the hydrostatic pump drive. I've looked at the repair manual and looked at the machine and it looks like I can do this with the pump/engine assembly still in the machine...
