One thing to remember on those guns is when you squeeze the trigger let it pull the full stroke, let off until it fully returns and repeat until it pops. Short stroking it so it doesn't get a good grip can cause problems I have been told. You will find yourself looking for places to use it that would have never crossed your mind once you get the hang of it.

Getting things aligned here this morning. Cut out the Extra Sprue off the NEW Battery Box, very Sloppy but NOWHERE near to the $1600 for pieces to build New KW P/Ns. Still need to rebolt the Lid Bolt brackets around a 1/2" forward and square up the Left side(Leans OUT).

In Between had Dinner as Bird got done, Aftermath!! And Wife. She is picking the Carcass CLEAN.

That will be probably my job for tomorrow!

Turns out wife bought a quadriplegic turkey. She was looking for a small one as this year we are doing a two person Thanksgiving so decided to buy a small bird! Guess she missed the part that said it was just the two breasts with no wings or legs!

Still should be good enough to make a bit of soup!

There are many uses for a huck riveter. I think all houses should be built with 1/4" steel plate and 3/16" plate for exterior and interior walls with a 1/4" plate roof all riveted together.
Bathroom should be a solid stainless tig welded construction with center floor drain and wash it out with a lawn sprayer with bleach and hose everything down. All cupboards riveted
in place, chairs riveted in place, bed frame riveted in place. Mounted on pilings imbedded in the ground 20' deep with 1/4" steel shutters and two plate doors. Seat belts riveted to
the chairs so when the hurricane/tornado comes along strap your self in and let it blow by. Be cool in the winter and hot in the summer plus it's hail proof. Want to add a bedroom
just rivet one on.:)

You forgot it needs to be shotgun designed home so you can open the back door up and take leaf blower to sweep it out;) It’s how I cleaned my 5th wheel out that was built from a shipping container.

Checked weather, just hoping will hold another week, rains this week sucked.

We had a Huck Gun for the ALTEC equipment mount hardware that failed over time, believe it was 5/8 Hucks. Line crews got to know when a Bolt failed as would pop like a gunshot then ring when hit tool box tins, Only lost MAYBE 50 over the years on all the machines, chalked those up to either bad bolts or bad technique when drawn down. Always on areas with severe shifting side loading as on Corner Mounted Digger Derricks.

Yep, winter is arriving. Have heat on one side of workshop(Tools side), may invest in a portable heat source for the truck bay side.
