Damn near all of them around here have "blinding lights" feature. Particularly the ones into the "Carolina Squat" fad, where the take a few leaves out of the rear pack, to make their truck look like a constipated dog.
they make a kit to do that every one here has it done at the dealer ship. I have been trying to come up with a name for it. I thought that it need to be called Impala something because it makes them look like a chevy Impala with weak rear springs.

A few weeks ago had a cousin and his wife stop by as they were passing thru. They wanted to see what I did for a living so we hopped in the pickup and headed for a field we were building terraces in. They must have assumed we were going to just look from the road because as soon as I pulled in the field they both about had a coronary. Cousin's wife even took a video while driving in the field so she could show her friends!! I guess some people live a pretty sheltered life

The tire store here in town sells the mall crawlers a $3,500 tire and wheel package and takes the wheels and tires that were on the new rig they bought as a trade-in.
Then winter comes and they don't want the new wheels eaten up with deicer fluid/and salt, so they go back to the tire store and the tire store often sells them back
the same tires and wheels the truck came with.o_O

Idiots doing idiot things because they are idiots

and yes the squatting thing is infecting our region also. Not only is the truck or Suburban/Tahoe squatting but they have the rubber band thick tires on rims that stick 2 feet out. Then they put a decal on the back glass with their Instagram or snap chat name.

My wife always laughs when she sees a Hummer, especially a H1 that looks like it has never touched even a gravel driveway let alone raw dirt! She said that if she ever owned one she would never wash it.

Heck first thing she would probably do when she left the dealer's lot would be to find a cow pasture and do some "doughnuts" and then drive down main street in the upscale village near us and park it in front of some fancy store and let it drop mud on the street!

That military version is the one the US Army might be interested in. All that metal and bright lights might make the most amazing target to test small missiles on. The piece says its bullet proof, would it stop and AK round? How about a 50 cal. Might name it the Patton mobile.

Put more offroad miles on my SD250 than the vast majority of Morons with Jeeps in town here. I dare say the only time they offroad is when hydroplane into the ditch in rain or snowy conditions not knowing HOW to drive.

I probably have more miles on my 06 F-350 with chains on all 4 than most have drove in 4 wheel drive. We typically run over a hundred miles a year chained up on all 4 and still have to winch at times.

Brother in CO just bought a new F150 4x4 crew cab six foot bed. Got a "Deal", only had to finance $39,000 with his trade, a five year old GMC extended cab 1500. Four year payment plan.
