There is a bunch of good stuff still out here in the brush unlike east of the Rockies where a dash of salt was used to kill everything.:(

But the lack of an R at the beginning of the model, does that not indicate lack of a range box? Plus the sticker looks like it has no range box plus I don't see any valve on the shifter in the picture. I think an 8LL is similar to a 9 speed with deep reduction. That looks more like a 5 speed and the model # seems to agree with that idea.

How are those extra low and reverse positions accomplished? There has to be some shenanigans besides rails and forks there.

Double gates for Deeper gearing just as the chart shows, and the Deep reduction is a Dash Switch as noted on that dash chart. HATED These units.

The R only stands for Roadranger- RTO stands for Roadranger, twin counter shaft, overdrive. If it was RTLO the L would stand for low inertia. RTOF is forward shift tower, RTX the X means overdrive also. The T-955ALL
is a twin counter shaft with rear section.

The wide ratio behind a 8V71 was horrible, it had to be wound tighter than a watch spring to make the shift and no missing.
