I finely got my Freightliner started. It has a 6v92 i had pulled the valve covers off to unstick the injecters and found it has a lobe down on one cam. I would like to drive it home but the foot brake valve is stuck. If i was rich i would fix it up i dont think anyone would want it if not it may get scraped.

I just put a new foot valve in a frt shkr that I have this past sat. must be catching
Took the peddle off the brake valve and got it freed up but it steal will not build over 40 psl after a long time running. It has a bad leak on the shifter but thats the only place i can hear air leaking. I may take my other truck and try to air it up to make sure it dosent have a bad leak or run the line off the compresser to a small tank to see if it will make more than 40psi.This truck has alot of lines on it and tanks compeared to newer trucks. If i was 20 agin i would have drove it home with out brakes. I wouldnt have to worry about going to fast cant get it out of low with out air.

What was he thinking or was his last truck to easy to work on or did he think most trucks were to easy to get in or out of?

I saw this critter in texas after the hole over the hood was covered and the whole thing painted blue didn't look to bad then and it ran

I would have stuck with the cabover but i like to build stuff and use what i have but I would have lowered the cab so the hood was just under the windsheild i would also build some steps or some thing. This one is newer than mine the thing i see bad about the freight shaker is geting in and out of the sleeper like most cabovers.Back then you were ether driving or sleeping today you live in your truck cab so its nice to have some floor space.

If I was a DOT/weigh master and that item crossed my scale you can bet the red light would come on. Also What insurance company would insure a monstrosity like that.
