That's very possible. I got to know the owner in the later 80's.I dont know i thought maybe a car show but i cant remember any other cars around. Would have been sometime in the early 80s?
Person could get a little romantic about that... until up you opened up the door and the lovely green interior comes back to haunt you!I don't know anything about this one, but thought I would share. I don't ever remember these trucks on the road when I was little as I think they had all rusted out by then.

Do you need a winch? I have a hard time scraping them but they dont have much value here. The KW above is mid sixties vintage, not much there. The winches are worth more than the truck by far. .
Its not home right now but the poles are hooked above the rear spring hangers about like the hinges on a dump truck.. I did this because it dosent have a bed and thats as close to the axle i could got and steal use the fifithwheel. I have another truck now so i may remove the F W and move them closer to the axle. The pickup i had i cut the springs of even with the rear of the tires and made a spring slider.
I have thought about this before but didnt do it because i thought i would be useing the fifthwheel and it would be harder to get the poles on and off but i have only had them off once in 18 or so years.Best place for a set of poles on a single drive is just over the front spring brackets for the rear axle.
that rig would wear a guy out climbing around on it & getting in itThe guy who built this was previously a house remodeler and specialized in odd floor plans.
