In the TGIF forum I had a thread about {noises you don't mind} which was about my young neighbor and the fact I could hear his fine guitar playing. He really is a fantastic guitarist on all types of guitars.
Well a ways back I was talking to him over the fence and asked him if he could try and master the lead guitar performance in a certain song, just for the simple fact I have never heard any version that
came close to the original, and why was that? Well tonight he played it for me and WOW it sounded identical. Afterward he explained he has been working on it for a while because the technique the
guitarist used in the studio way back when was his own style and after the recording he only played it on stage twice, so there was a bunch of guessing to the technique since then.
It involves using a pick plus the thumb and forefinger and stretching the strings on the fret board, according to him a extremely unusual style. He is working on his degree in music also. I wish I had
a video camera and audio, I would have recorded it. He was all smiles as he performed on his hollow body Gretsch. And everyone knows this song-here is the original recording.
Small things you learn.

Thought had a decent SA B61 locally(thirty miles away), guy had it on FB Marketplace but once managed to contact him was already sold and NO Title in hand, parts truck.

That's a real problem with a high percentage of old trucks/vehicles, no title. In Washington St it normally isn't worth jumping through the hoops with DMV to gain a new title.
Damn near impossible in many cases, a bill of sale here is worthless at the DMV/county auditor licencing office.

MO has changed it up some too, if request a "Lost" Title the last issued owner's name will be on it. If not the seller's name cannot get a sign off to make it yours. If was a deceased relative that person who sold has to pay the accorded Property Taxes, back to last paid along with a death cert copy before a release of title will occur where that tends to be the reason so many are 'Lost' and these asses will not help to get it corrected.

Nice set of legs! OH, and there are trucks with trees on them!! :D:D:confused:;)

Still have memories of the Rear Steer car logging trucks along the roads in WA and OR when I had the KW. HUGE Logs were still around in the 80s
