I have always fought with that inner when loaded. Needed at least 2 extra hands to get that little track clip on while juggling everything else and of course trying not to destroy/ damage stuff. Looking good. ( said In my best "Chico" impression)

Most all the weather stripping is just universal stuff I bought from Restoration Specialist and Vent window gaskets from Steele Rubber Products. Cost was less than half from the Mack Supplier back east.
I used 1968 Ford pickup felts/window sweeps, some very small modifications and those fit perfect.

I completely assembled the register with glass, installed window and door handles with door latch. Held the inner door handle down to get latch through door opening. Slid it into place used two screws
to support panel then installed the rest of the screws and only used two hands, lol.

Been years since I had to do that on a B model but think it's about the same on the R models. Trying to not gouge up paint could be tough. But then the trucks in the quarry had more to worry about than a scratch or two on a inner door panel!

Just cleaning things up enough that the windows would go up and down could be a trick!

I went trough and completely cleaned and lubed all the parts to the registers and door latch components, Plus all new weather stripping for the glass tracks. But when I install the window panels
in the doors I duct taped around the openings and smeared Napa brand Sil Glide on the tape witch allowed the panels to slide into place with no scratches.

Tread plate matting gives a Good Look, Liking that quite a bit.

I agree. Where'd you get that stuff?

Heated mirror or power mirror? (the wire in the door)

Looks really nice.

Adding heated mirrors, which was a somewhat tiring process trying to figure out how to run the wire through the door hinge. But Darryl and RZ were persistent that it could be done the last time
they were here. So I gave it a second try and {gott'er done}.

Thanks by the way.

Where there's a will, there's a way... But that is one tight hinge pocket.

Just curious Mr Truck Shop. Are you gonna wire those heated mirrors through a relay or just straight through the switch? How bout an indicator light?

There is a spare relay in the fuse box with the universal wiring harness I bought that's fused. But really all that's needed is it be fused. And no indicator light, with the switches mounted
on the left side of the dash it's pretty easy to see when something is left on. But 50% of items will only operate if ignition switch is in the on position.
