Mine had an attempted theft in which the thief, deciding it was too much work to steal my compressor, decided to cut the wires on the coil, steal the coil, air cleaner, and carb.
He got bit by a Great Pyrenees and abandoned the operation.
Here is the info I need:
On a Smith 100CFM Ford 302 V8 with electronic ignition there were two wires that went to each side of the coil,
Gallery:
The colors of the wires are: brown, green, red, and black
Distributor is 84-87 302 style, it is an electronic ignition on the vehicle. He cut the wires on the coil, we have not been able to find the coil, the people who own SMITH have nothing to say to me, manual is no longer available on web.
I remember distinctly that two wires were joined at a female spade terminal on each side and slipped over the male terminal on each side. But I have no way of knowing which way this goes.
Does anyone have a Smith Tow Behind Compressor to look at ? I've tried asking on SmokStak but I think it is a bit too new.
