Bobcat 743 making it a track machine

I have a 743 bobcat, i was wondering if it is poss to make this a track machine without using the steel add on tracks??

Anything is possible if you got enough money but it'd be cheaper to buy a tracked machine unless you want to slap some over the tire tracks on it...

thats what i thought, lol im looking for a track machine now. i dont care for the over the tire ones, have had them.

There are over the tire rubber tracks, too, and loegering makes (or made) a conversion, for some wheel machines...

I had Loegering VTS tracks. They worked well. I had them on a CASE 440 that had 90 hp. The VTS on that size machine adds about 1400 pounds per side. It takes some power to turn them. Also they run off of one axle, that adds some stress to the drive chains. A 743 barely has the power to move itself on wheels, it would not be a good candidate for tracks of any type. I would agree and find a dedicated tracked machine.

yea i had some steel tracks for it a few years ago they worked fine for the time i had them, i think its time to retire her, i just put a new motor in it. so its still worth a few bucks. so if anyone is around MI and have a track machine for sale let me know.
