Changed front bucket penetrating tips for a blade. Made it out of old rail road lower part of a rail. B\c mostly I work on the city streets and it will clean the mess better.

Lots of utilities put in recently with the case 580k 4x4 extendahoe- electrical conduit, sewer line, water line, all at the new shop. The $350 I paid for two buckets (12” trencher and 42” muck bucket) have paid off many times over

Utterly unrealistic! I don't see cigarette butts, or tobacco spit. Clearly an imposter!
Every used machine I've ever looked at needed a hazmat team to pressure wash it first.

If the unit is designed to have it
and you have any want or need or just have a preference and availability then go fer it.

Evening all, Not my backhoe, but Council's road maintenance unit, the two crew wanted it secured so they left it just opposite my driveway overnight and I took this image.

Six years ago this machine was the prior role equivalent.

Can it be six years? I think daylight saving must have erased one month from our year for it to feel 'just the other day'; Then again it is true!

My "new" loader. 1971 MF50A as far as I can tell:

It came with some issues but we are working toward resolution. Many of the hoses are still 47 years old.

After bursting one on the hoe I replaced all the loader hoses inside the cab.
I could not imagine sitting in the cab with an explosion of hot hydraulic oil.
Lots of pedals and levers.

Could use some real tractor tires as well:

But she digs! The earth will be moved...

I bought this 580D from a buddy of mine who's dad passed. His dad had Dementia and for some reason started randomly tearing machines apart. I brought this thing home in buckets and bought a manual and started putting it back together. Its a great machine and and has a ton of power. 4-1 and extenda hoe. Wife is operating it in this picture for the first time. This small hole is about 45 minutes work.
