Was explained the Meth heads use ammonia to chemically change or concentrate chemicals in cold meds to Meth, do not know how, do not care to find out, the idiots try to collect raw 'Ammonia' and either mistake or misunderstand or have cooked out that braincell as to Anhydrous Ammonia in a pressure tank. And I agree, a Natural Culling.

Most of them smoke it like in a hash pipe that I am aware of. There is a term called Meth Mouth as the stuff destroys teeth.

They willingly ingest that stuff? I will never understand the drug culture. o_O The bleeding hearts need to take a step back and allow Darwin to take over. Don't think of it as being heartless, just consider it as natural culling of the heard.

Agree...if they ingest drugs, that’s their choice; let’s honor that choice. Why spend money to revive them just to have them repeat it all again.

Ohh man, dont get me going on that. Coppers out here have to carry those junky pens. That way they can revive junkies that OD. They ain't cheap either. I remember pumpguy bitchin that his pharmacist gave him one that he didn't want or need. Said they had to give one with every narco script.
We spend so much time and money making sure people don't kill themselves doing sh!t they shouldn't do. Human garbage is just that, garbage. Why should society spend a nickel saving those who can't be saved.
I'm sorry we veered so far from original topic, but from time to time we probably should discuss it.

So when some farmer or mechanic touches a pto or some other thing they should have stayed away from should we help them? They made the stupid choice knowing what could happen.
When some one burning wood has a chimney fire should we save them? They made the choice to burn bad.
I guess we should just not help anyone if a accident is at all there own fault.

In seriousness, we're talking human debris here, not some poor b@st@rd who made an honest mistake. OSHA & MSHA have written huge manuals on how not to kill yourself or someone else. Our trade unions emphasize safety and not to let mgmt push you into an unsafe act for "time" Most of us in trades practice safety on the job and p!ss it out the window on the way home. We do sh!t we would stop someone else from doing 'on the job' . None of us are immune. But I'm pretty confident none of us are injecting junk into ourselves, not intentionally. Drug abuse is not an accident, it's a choice. F-CK EM, let em stay dead. If that hits a nerve or speaks to a family member, I'm sorry for your situation. Ain't sorry for my position.

Ok now I understand. So if you smoke and get any smoking related illness then no help for you. If you drink and have any liver problems then no help for you. Dont put on sunscreen when going outside? No help for you. Drive fast and crash no help for you.
I have this figured out right?

I understand where you are coming from but there are a lot of other things people are doing to them selves that is costing the rest of the population lots more then saving some junkies.

I guess that's what this thread is all about, It takes ALL kinds. :( oh well, you have your position and I have mine.

Little time lapse there. Yeah, not a fan of smoking and drinking either, those folks make the choice. Yeah, it costs big coin. It is what it is. If they incur a chronic illness, that's the way the mop flops. They're in for a long hurt. When a junky croaks, they still cost money. Somebody has to bag em up, and totes em to the morgue, burn or bury the corpse after exhausting more funds trying to find the family.

I'm just saying it's a little excessive to say let them die. Majority of the time they are not trying to over dose they just want to get high. Just like a smoker wants a nicotine fix and a alcoholic wants to get drunk.
People make poor life choices and to say let them die is a little much. There have been lots of people who have brought good and happiness to the world who were or are drug users.

I hold firm. Let em stay dead. Dont jump start a junky with a narc narcan pen, as soon as they get sober, they do it again. A little girl my kids grew up with is one. Cops restarted her twice already. Ruined her mother financially, stole from friends and family, did unspeakable things for dope. If she had died, she would have only hurt her friends and family once. Now there are 2 additional crack babies in the system and as I mentioned, her mother is financially destroyed.
I feel the same about suicidal whack jobs. Why save them either? They WANT TO DIE! Who the hell are we to discourage them. Hell, I'll buy the bullet.
I know I sound mean and cruel and heartless, I just don't care. I don't have to. My own kids smoke, after i explained how foolish it is and what a tremendous waste it is. T' hell with em. I'll be dead by then, hopefully.

No, I don't think it is excessive either. If you feel like saving them, fine, just don't ask for my tax dollars to save them with. Do it on your own time with your own volunteer efforts. They can come live in your house.

Users turn to crime to support their habits. They are useless to society.

G..G..G..Granville.........!! Fetch your cloth.
I had a discussion along similar lines with the wife. Her youngest was a druggie. I had no idea when I first met him but within 10 minutes I had him figured for a "wrong 'un". When the story finally came out that he'd been through rehab more times than you could shake a stick at I came straight out with it in front of the whole family - both barrels. "The best thing you can do is launch yourself off the top of a tall structure without the benefit of a parachute for all the value you add to society. It would save everyone a lot of heartache".
Well that rant got me excommunicated by a large portion of the family. Big deal, does this look like a concerned face to you..? 2 years later he was dead at the age of 24. Death certificate said heart attack, could have been an OD. Either way the world (and especially my wife who spent most of her time worrying about him) is a better place without him. Good f**king riddance.
